Sarah graduated from Gray's School of Art, Scotland, with a Textile and Surface Design degree in 2007.

This design background injects her oil paintings with colourful and expressive pattern-like qualities. Whether painting still life, landscape or portraits both subject and the surrounding space work as equals within the motif.

Sarah finds joy in the aesthetic of everyday items such as fresh fruit, handmade pottery and houseplants when painting still life; And finds wonder in the local Scottish Highland landscapes. These simple God-given blessings uplift and inspire us all on the even the darkest of days.
